GUERRILLA REPUBLIK PRESENTS: LOVE & SACRIFICE VOL 7.. THE TROY DAVIS EDITION

The Hip Hop word spell has created a curse of ignorant bliss in word sound and negates the reality of collateral damage among the people who rely on it for remedy. Love is the first principle for a reason. The sacrifice made by the contributing artist on this compilation is a parallel to the ritual sacrifice of our brother Troy Davis. As his life is not in vain neither is the verbal alchemy that is produced in ritual sacrifice of commercial rhetoric by every one of these emcees. Love and Sacrifice is the Gospel. It is volume 7. God. The resurrection of You. The proceeds to this Love and Sacrifice volume will benefit a college fund in the name of Troy Davis. The cycle stops here. Non Commercial Non Compromise. ~ Abundance Child

Cool Stuff I Like and Watch: Veganhood TV

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Health is wealth. Period Point blank. Health is one of my greatest passions. Veganhood TV combines two of my great passions, interweaving classic, content-driven hip hop with health tips, recipes and knowledge that presents the vegan lifestyle in a practical and attainable manner.. even for the beginner. Salute to my bredrin Mental Sun and the Veganhood TV for putting in this much needed work for the people. Also, check out the visual alchemy on these tee shirts, hoodies, etc. from Art of Facts Clothing.

Two of my favorite episodes of Veganhood TV:

Ase, Part 1(Salute to the Masculine Principle) a Repost for Father’s Day

BABA IS ON THE JOB. SALUTE!

The djed pillar, symbolic of stability and potency of the masculine principle.

I love the masculine principle. I mean absolutely to the core of my being to the core of their being I love, salute and uplift my brothers. The Aboriginal/Indigenous/Asiatic/Original man is a force to be reckoned with; a sight to behold. There is so much emphasis on what brothers “ain’t doing”,  I feel it’s only right to salute and honor the ones that are on their job; as well as encourage the ones that aren’t to get on theirs. This verse is from a song that I wrote/recorded about two years ago for a project that willfully will be released (hurry up other mcees/singers and finish yo songs!) titled “Ase”. “Ase” is a Yoruban word sound power that is said when honoring our ancestors, when invoking, and when transformation is called for. Indeed, that is exactly what the inspiration for this did to/for me. I am ever grateful and thankful for this Khepera (transformation). Ase!

Melanated like Hannibal/sustain the vibration

even when we intangible-Flawless to tha mandible/

strong pillar- quiet storm killa

revolutionary guer-rilla-the raw dilla

roots, culture droppin/science supreme-king

front liner- not sweating a thing (seen)

reflect the correct resurrection-perfection

ausar and auset twins/ruling amexem

protection- hematite/blinded now I see ya light

guidance for the neophyte-guardian degrees of life

gem dropper-everything aligned proper
