In the Lab…

Peace and Love family!

It is warm, breezy and gorgeous outdoors; Mother Ntr is in her full glory giving birth, the days are longer .. and my energy is soaring. We are in the process of fine tuning and “accessorizing” Mother Ntr with a Molotov Vol. 1. The entire conceptualizing, writing, recording, etc. process has been amazing, frustrating, renewing, and cathartic simultaneously. There were many times I wanted to give up for [presumed] lack of resources, studio time, artwork, verses for my features (still waiting on one that should be here tomorrow) figuring out how it was going to be distributed and by who, you get the picture. Having given birth twice, comparing creating this album to that experience is super accurate. In turn, when it finally comes to fruition, the end result will be sooooooo worth it. The release date has been pushed back several times, so at this point I choose to say that it will be out early summer and the specific date will be announced when I have completed the mastering process. 🙂 Much like a baby, it will come when it is ready.. and I will patiently concede to my role as midwife awaiting further instruction. For those of you that have not yet had the opportunity to listen to the first single “Unbreakable”, you can click here for my Bandcamp page: stahhr

I am also working on a compilation of my favorite features, remixes and overseas releases entitled “That was You?”, poking fun at the multiple names some of my music has been released under (not of my choosing) as well as chronicling my discography to date for those who may be unfamiliar. This will be offered as a free download mixtape. Stay tuned!
